I guess I should've known - you really do get what you pay for. If you need a prisonyard shank underwater, this is definitely what you need . If you prefer your dive knife rusted-out, dull, flimsy in its sheath, and barely held in place by a 5 cent piece of Velcro, definitely pick this one up. Its a total piece of crap if you haven't gathered. The only redeeming quality of this knife is that it IS a left-handed knife as mentioned previously, which is good, because I'm left handed. I clip it onto the right side of my BC right on my chest for quick access. But really, don't buy it. It doesn't come with straps, and you'd have to have it professionally sharpened if you want any kind of edge on it.

cheap cheap... but you get what you pay...never got to use it, hopefully won't disintegrate! as of the straps and cage,,, or I never understood how and where to carry this or the cage and straps to hold it are not well done and do not allow you to put it in your ankle...I am guessing should you bring it all the time in your hand? get a purse or rucksack to carry underwater with your knife??

its cheaply crafted, hopefully the hard plastic sheath with cheap metal screws won't rust away. the sheath is made for left-handed users due to the shape of the hilt-to-sheath match-up, and the belt harness. don't buy it unless you have no other option.

As I know nothing about scuba diving, I could be totally wrong. But I DO collect knives. And after trying a number of sheath and knife configurations for this item, I'm convinced that it's made for a LEFT-HANDED person. Yes, I never heard of a left-handed knife before, either. But, by the way you attach the sheath to a belt, and consdiering the orientation in which the sheath 'faces', it seems to be configured so that the knife is 'best pulled-out' with a person's LEFT hand. Now, as I said, I know nothing about scuba diving so maybe you are supposed to attach it to your air tanks or something strange like that...which would POSSIBLY orient it for a right-handed person...somehow. But I tried some other possible scenarios, and I still got the same 'left-handed orientaion' result. Again, maybe it's supposed to 'be' that way.

Not the best Sheath I have ever had for a dive knife but as good as can be expected for the price. I always seem to loose my dive knifes and would purchase this product again.

I purchased this knife knowing that it was cheap. Since it's called a divers knife, I needed something that wont rust, and my intentions were to use it as a fishing knife. The sheath is over sized for the blade, and the knife itself is made of cheap alloy that wont take sharpening. If you file it down, it would make a good screwdriver.

The blade itself came chipped, however this will review will look past how the product was handled by the seller. The knife is of low quality, and is not a quick finish... The sheath is a joke I'd rather duct tape the knife to my leg and use it once a day. The knife rattles around in the sheath which will make it that more much difficult to grab and its a rough plastic that leaves a rash on the side of you. Would not recommend this knife to anybody, even though it is extremely cheap it still isn't worth the money

I did not expect the knife to be worth anything. I bought the knife hoping for good straps. Well the knife is just one step above being a toy (it can cut you) and the straps that I was really interested in were not long enough to even put around an arm, let alone your leg. The plastic sheath for the knife doesn't fit well and did I mention the straps were VERY SHORT. Knife is held into the sheath with a velcro strap as well.

As I know nothing about scuba diving, I could be totally wrong. But I DO collect knives. And after trying a number of sheath and knife configurations for this item, I'm convinced that it's made for a LEFT-HANDED person. Yes, I never heard of a left-handed knife before, either. I like this knife alot. It feels and looks like it is well made. I was hoping you could strap it to your leg but the belt loop stick's out. The knife blade feels very sturdy and very sharp. Saw is very sharp to. Not a toy .I have not used it for any thing yet. sheath is a little big for knife. knife rattle's a bit but not much.

10 10" SCUBA Diving Knife Double-Edged Blade & Sheath NEW

very impressed with this knife for the money. It is almost as nice as my $79.99 divers knife. Very solid, fit anf finish is nice for the price. Fairly sharp, not razor sharp but sharp. Wiggles in the sheath but my other dive knives to the same thing but still fits in snuggly and will not come out. VERY pleased for the price. I would easily spend up to $50 for this knife.

The knife isnt the sharpest one out there, and the quality is average at best. One of the straps on the holster already broke. It rusted after just two uses but i guess i am to blame since i did not dry it very well. But for the price it is decent for your recreational diver.

Seems like a good quality knife. The sheath is rigid and a bit thicker than I'd prefer, but it's not bad. I had to add a little bit of tape to the inside of the sheath (for thickness) to get the knife to reliably latch into place. I prefer a pointed knife for snorkeling, and this one has been working well for me. It came relatively sharp, and sharpened up nicely. One side is smooth and one side serrated with a line-cutting slot.
