A diving watch is a watch designed for underwater diving that features, as a minimum, a water resistance greater than 10 ATM, the equivalent of 100 meters (330 ft). The typical diver's watch will have a water resistance of around 200 - 300 meters (660 - 990 feet), though modern technology allows the creation of diving watches that can go much deeper. A true diver's watch is in accordance with ISO 6425, which defines test standards and features for watches suitable for diving with underwater breathing apparatus in depths of 100 m or more. Watches conforming to ISO 6425 are marked with the word DIVER'S to distinguish diving watches from look a like watches that are not suitable for actual scuba diving.

**Please note, the band width is 20mm, NOT 22mm as Amazon has listed** Yes this watch is small. At least smaller than your typical men's diver. Beware also that it is quartz, so no automatic movement here. This is actually the reason why I bought it, along with its size (7" wrist). So far so good with this watch. It looks a lot better in person than in the photos. The case is polished stainless steel. The bezel has a good, tight, solid movement. Not clanky like one of my seikos. The second hand does not perfectly align with the markers, but I never really cared about that. Lume is ok, but nothing that will blow you away. All in all, this watch is a great value. It can be found cheaper elsewhere, so shop around. But if you want the full warranty, Amazon is probably your best bet.

I bought this watch for my girlfriend. She loves my seiko but she wanted something a bit smaller for her wrist. As a result I bought this watch after some research and based on the reviews here at Amazon. When I received the watch I immediately took it out and it immediately struck me that the quality of this watch was only mediocre because: * The bezel action is very coarse. It does not feel like quality instrument, more like a toy. * The lume on the dial and the hands is only mediocre compared to my seiko which is really nice. * The screw in crown is very hard to manipulate, I don't see my girlfriend trying to open it and tighten it back down. * The strap is not 22mm cotrary to what is listed by Amazon. If you want to get an aftermarket strap you'll need to get a 20 mm strap. * The finish on the watch case is a not brushed steel. It is chrome like which in my opinion makes it look less sophisticated. Also to note I bought this watch on eBay for $90 (with box and all paperwork). I'm glad I didn't pay the $125 that Amazon is charging. Update - This watch has grown on me. The more I see it the more I like it. The points above are still valid however.

Although this is a handsome little watch I did end up returning it because it does not have the Eco-Drive technology and it has a few other flaws. The box on the pictures of the watch shows an Eco-Drive box which is not the one the watch came in. Because of that being on there and also the description of the Eco-Drive technology on the item page I bought this watch thinking it was equipped with Eco-Drive. I also did not like the crown on the watch at all it is way too small and hard to screw back down because it's so tiny. The luminosity of the hands is decent but nothing compared with my Luminox watch. Luminosity fades quickly when it's dark, but it is a cool blue color. The face of the watch looks pretty nice and the second hand stopped precisely on each tick mark which is nice. Overall I give it 3 stars because it should be equipped with Eco-Drive and the crown is insanely small. I would personally recommend a Luminox or Seiko dive watch over this one. However, if you don't care that much about glow or Eco-Drive and you can deal with the tiny crown this is not a bad watch for the price. Pros -Decent looks -Day/Date display -Quartz accuracy -Second hand stops right on each mark Cons -Tiny crown very hard to screw in -Luminosity is not as good as Seiko and nothing compared to Luminox -Not Eco-Drive

This is the second one of these watches that my husband has owned. He has a very active job and wears this watch everyday. The first one was purchased in 1993 and was running fine when we decided to surprise him with a new one for his birthday. The old one had a scratched bezel and the numbers had worn off of the outer ring but the watch itself was in perfect running order.(it was 15 years old when we replaced it...) This watch is not too bulky like some dive watches tend to be and the face is highly readable with just a quick glance. There are several new watches out there that resemble this one but for the price and the "feel" of this watch, you just can't beat it.

This is a very comfortable watch-not too big-not too heavy. The face shines in the dark- a convenient feature. I bought it for my husband specifically for the beach and going into the water but now he wears it all the time. It is functioning perfectly. The band is very comfortable but tends to overlap too much on the wrist and gets caught on city clothing. Citizen could have made a shorter band. For quality and price you can't beat this watch. My husband is completely satisfied and loves it.

Timex Men's Classic Coin-Edged Bezel Silver-Tone Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch #T29781 Timex Men's Classic Coin-Edged Bezel Silver-Tone Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch #T29781

Just got the watch today. Super easy to adjust and set the time and date. I did not need to remove a link, just adjusted the band at the clasp. Looks amazing. Love the Indiglo. Glows in the dark as well. I highly recommend this watch.

I bought this watch at Walmart two years ago for Christmas - actually I bought 2 of them because they seemed like a great deal. I have not worn the second watch yet. I bought the mail in Timex 2 or 3 year extra warranty for $5 dollars. It is a great watch for the money. The indiglo light only worked for about a year. You can't beat these Timex watches for quality for the money. I have worn Seiko divers watches for 20 years, but there is no need to pay $200 when you can get as good a quality watch for $50 dollars. The idea that I can wear an American watch is great. maybe I am helping put some American's to work. For looks and quality I rate this watch equal to my Seiko diver watch. Having said that I wore each the Seiko for 5 years until they got so beaten up they were too ugly for a daily watch. I have only had this Timex watch for two years. The band pops open and the sides have to be pressed in to keep it tight. Same thing happened to other diver watches I have had. I like the rubber band better, but the Stainless Steel looks better. This is a great watch for $50.00. They still sell these on Amazon, but you can't find them many places anymore. Not sure why. I do not wear this watch for diving. I wear this as my daily watch. I bought a yellow face Timex as my dive watch. Other watches I like along these lines Bulova Marine Star - very nice watch Fortis B-42 GMT (black band - white face) - my favorite watch Seiko dive watch - solid value Rolex submariner - a great reward for a job well done

Great Value for the money. Very legible clock face and the bracelet is probably the most comfortable of any watch I've ever had once adjustments were made. If one needs to remove links for a correct fit to match their wrist, they might well consider going to a jeweler to have it done. I was able to make those corrections myself only because I have some very small drivers and drift pins to accomplish the task.

This watch looks VERY good. The hands and hour markers are cut very nice with no imperfections. Bezel feels like a thousand dollar watch when you turn it. Very hard to scratch the glass and bezel.. For me the only real problem was the bracelet. It does not have the double lock feature. It popped open a few times on me. Also when you bend your wrist back the back of your hand will turn the light on, which is a little annoying. Its also a bit noisy with the ticking. These were the only problems I ever had with the watch.

Thanks for taking the time to read this review. First, let me tell you that I bought the watch from ChelseaWatch at $40.88. I have nothing but good to say about the seller. The watch came in perfect condition, in a neat package less that a week after I ordered the watch (and it was an international shipping--so the shipping time was the amazing!!!) Now about the watch: My first impressions when I opened the box was amazement. Here are some things I noticed at first glance 1) The watch looks SO diffrent from the pictures, as some customers have already mentioned it before. But let add that note on a positive way. The watch is so much more beautiful than what the pictures shows. The overall quality seems to be very high. 2) The actual retail price of the watch, as set by Timex itself, is $65. Now you can buy it here for less than $45, which is great plus. 3) The watch band is so HUGE. If defeninitively needs some adjustments. You might also have to bring it to your local jewerly store to get it resized to your wrist size. I recommend that over doing it yourself, cuz removing the links are somewhat hard to do, and you don't want to break your watch. The couple of extra dollars spent would be worthed. As for the functionality of the watch itself, only time can tell. So far I haven't had the watch for long enough to comment on it. But you can be sure that if the watch stops working (or anything like that), I will report it here in this review as an update. So as long as you don't hear from me again, it means that the watch is working well, without problems. Ok overall, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this watch. The quality-price ratio is amazing. I would rather have this watch at my wrist, than most of the watches costing couple of times more (because it's simply beautiful). I hope that this helps clarify the matter for you. Cheers.

I actually returned this product because it was a lot bigger than I expected (the face) and looked more of a men's watch than a women's. I thought this was unisex but the face is a little too big
