How can I put this nicely... If you are truly interested in SCUBA, please don't read this book. It will only elicit surprise and confusion when you go to seek instruction. The author's data and descriptions are erroneous at best and resemble no info I've seen from certifying agencies I'm personally aware of. If this book is accurate for some lesser known organization in another part of the world the author did not make such a clarification evident. (I'm even writing this review directly from my Kindle...) I would recommend to the author a complete rewrite, to include supporting Web links or other supporting sources he can cite.

Awesome swim goggles. Made in Italy. The build quality is great and the fit is amazing. I have a big face so it fits well over the standard swim goggles that tend to press too hard on my eye sockets and gives me headaches. They also look pretty styling.

These googles are great in open water and in the pool. Did a great job of reducing the glare of the sun off the water during my TRI. I will be buying another pair for a backup!

I love these goggles - they provide awesome visibility and are great for me in swimming laps in outdoor pools. I have really light blue eyes and can't go outside without sunglasses (or get headaches). These goggles solve that for me. Highly recommended.

When it comes to underwater spectacles, you don't exactly need to look like the hottest thing with two legs. Still, it doesn't hurt. Ordered my set a few days ago for my next outing to the beach here in a couple days, and I'll say this: For the price, I don't think you're gonna find much better. The goggles are stylish (I'd liken them to a set of ocean-going Oakleys) and incredibly comfortable. What's more, they were quick to fit, with special clasps to keep the leftover bands from flapping all over the place. Suction is present, but not painfully overwhelming. All in all, I can't foresee any difficulties or issues with these in use, but I will update if required. Update (08/08/10): Tried the goggles at the beach, and they were prone to fogging. Additionally, they didn't seem to get a decent enough seal to prevent leaks. Will give this another shot, but optimism is fading.

After using the same pair of goggles for years, I finally decided I needed a new pair. After hunting around on Amazon for great reviews, I picked the Kaiman googles and the reviews are right, these goggle rock. Not only do they have great visibility, but the wide rims create great no-leak suction on the face without having to pull the straps really tight. (Somewhat scuba mask-like on the edges.) They are still new, but thus far they have no fogging issues either.

These goggles are very comfortable, don't leak and don't fog up. However, they broke after only 2 months of daily use. I had them in the car, picked them up at the destination and the nose strap looked like it was cut in the middle. No idea how this might have happened. But I still bought another pair as replacement. Another small thing: Every time I lift my head out of the water, a little water drop forms on the bottom outside rim of the glasses - slightly annoying.

First of all, this product isn't made in China, which is already a whole flight of stairs up from any other products meaning that these are already guaranteed to last you for awhile. They're made in Italy and they are perfect. I bought these goggles mainly because my old ones kept leaking and honestly, this is one of the best type of goggles ever. They really don't leak, they are very durable, I kept mine in the plastic case that it comes with, which was very efficient in taking care of the goggles. Fogging is not really a problem, all goggles will fog regardless of what they say, but the fact that they keep on my face and not leak in water is what drew me to them. The only negative comment I have about them is that the curvature on the outside traps some water and of course the 1st time I used it I had to stop and shake it and kind of ruin it for the day because I kept bothering about it. Otherwise, these are the perfect goggles for people to use.

Excellent swimming goggles. You can't go wrong with these. I can see clearly undergo due to the amber tinted lens.

i haven't used these a ton because i have a hard time convincing myself to swim. but when i have used them, they've been very good. far better than any other goggles i've ever used. these claim to be a step below the super elite high end goggles. i'll take their word for it. totally worth it for the price.

I purchased this mask to avoid the "raccoon eyes" that goggles gave me. When you get a good seal with this mask, it works great. But I suspect that the fit is a bit trickier because the shape of your face (and the top part of the bridge of your nose) is more involved than with goggles. Sometimes it leaks if I haven't gotten it positioned perfectly. It does leave a mark on your face but it disappears much faster than impressions left in that sensitive eye area. I'm glad I bought it.

i use this in the pool and in the ocean. i don't like how regular goggle push into my eye sockets, so i decided to use this mask instead. it's GREAT. i think it might be me, but the suction isn't always reliable because water gets into the mask sometimes....but again, it might just be me because that's a problem i have with most of my goggles....i'm saving the 5-stars for the pair of goggles that keeps my eyes dry. i hiiighly reccomend these goggles though.

Like another reviewer said, this mask doesn't fit well if you've got a somewhat big/wide head. Shame on me for not fully testing this before a recent triathlon! I had to complete the darn swim portion using strokes other than freestyle--since anytime I twisted my head during freestyle, water leaked into the side of this mask. Clearly, it's one size fits *some*. If you happen to wear a large-ish hat size, think again about buying this particular mask.

These are good, lightweight and reasonably durable swim goggles. They don't squeeze the eye like conventional, small oval-lensed goggles, and are very comfortable. These clear goggles do not provide the sunglasses-like protection of the mirror or tinted lenses, but are better for low light conditions and do allow better color recognition. Note that these are swim goggles, and *not* a mask for snorkeling or scuba diving - they do not cover the nose and cannot be equalized for pressure at depth.

I LOVE these goggles. I swim in a pool and in the ocean for about 5 hrs a week. These are so much more comfortable than regular goggles and gives you a much better area of vision. I highly recommend them. This is my 4th pair.
